Melissa Beardall

About Melissa Beardall

Melissa Beardall has lived with chronic illnesses such as  cranio-cervical instability, chronic fatigue syndrome, POTS and fibromyalgia for over 30 years. Despite these challenges, she raised eight children with strength and faith, which are reflected in her writing. Inspired by her own family, Melissa wrote Twirl With Me, Mama! to share her experiences and love for storytelling. She lives in a peaceful Utah valley with her husband, Jason, and cherishes time with her children and twin granddaughters. Melissa hopes her story helps other families find strength and joy in their own unique journeys.

Melissa Beardall has lived with cranio-cervical Instability (CCI), myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), fibromyalgia, and other chronic illnesses for over thirty years—all while raising eight beautiful children. She knows firsthand the dynamic between a child and a loved one with a chronic illness. Despite her struggles, she holds on to her faith, her family, and the hope of one day healing. Melissa lives in a quaint mountain valley in Utah with her husband, Jason, and their children. They’ve just welcomed adorable twin baby granddaughters.
